  1. Why do I need to attend 170 hours Japanese Language Course?

Students coming from all nations gather to study at the Japanese Language school and all classes are conducted in Japanese. So, learning basic Japanese while preparing for the necessary documents for admission in your home country is a must. The original clearance or certificate must be submitted to us accordingly. For those who have N5 JLPT Certificate and/or any other equivalent certificates, you don’t need to take a 170 hours Japanese Language course. Therefore, if you can't find Japanese Language school near you, please feel free to contact us.


  1. How much is the Tuition fee for the school and the Processing fee for Visa?

The Tuition fee varies from 750,000yen-850,000yen per year. It is equivalent to estimate 370,000php-400,000php (depending on the rate currency of the country at the present day).

  1. Can I pay my Tuition in installments?

Schools have different forms of payment. Some give a consideration of paying half upon enrollment but as a general rule, you need to pay in full for one year once you received the Visa. Please talk to us concerning this.

  1. What is the age limit for applicants?

Applicants can apply from 18 up to 38 years old.

  1. What are the schedules or dates of Intakes(start of class) per year?

In Japan there are four Intakes(start of class) every year- January, April, July, and October. You can choose from these four intakes depending on your availability and submission of your documents and obtaining your Student visa. Some of the students choose October for it is a wonderful season with autumn leaves and refreshing climate.

  1. How long will each Intake run or the duration of each class?

January- 1 year and 3 months

April- 2 years

July- 1 year and 9 months

October- 1 year and 6 months

  1. When are the deadlines of submission of required documents per Intakes?

All the required documents must be submitted and cleared before 6 months of the starting class or Intake. (ex. January intake- documents must be submitted on or before the end of July)




  1. What are the qualifications to apply for a Student Visa?

The qualification depends on the Educational background, Japanese Language skills and the capability of the Sponsor of each applicant. You need to fill up the WSTV Resume form so we can evaluate it and will give you the complete lists of the requirements through email.   1. Why do I need a Sponsor? And who is qualified or who can be my Sponsor?

Self- sponsorship is fine as long as you are confident to show proof that you can sustain all your expenses during your stay in Japan. But it is good to know that the school and the Immigration giving us an option to have a Sponsor in case that we do not meet the qualification.

Your sponsors can be your parents or any blood relatives. Sometimes those who are in laws are accepted. However, you need to submit proofs of relativity and show it in your illustration of Family Tree. These people might be living in your own country, abroad or in Japan. You must find those who can provide documentation on the income and assets that can testify their abilities to support you.

Sponsors are necessary for you to guarantee all the tuition fees and expenses while studying and living in Japan.

  1. How long does it take to obtain the Student Visa?

Usually, it takes 3 to 4 months to wait once the document is completely submitted by the school to the Immigration office. To our recent clients, they got their visas 2months before the start of the school.


  1. What are the common reasons for Visa denial?

Most of the reasons are incomplete documents, proven unauthenticated and unstable income of the expense sponsor.

  1. Can I receive a Processing Fee or Tuition Fee refund once my Student Visa is rejected?

The Tuition Fee will just be paid once you receive the Certificate of Eligibility while the partial payment of Processing fee and the Japanese Translation fee is non-refundable.

  1. Is it possible for me to work with a Student Visa?

Yes, you are allowed to work part-time within 28 hours a week and 8 hours a day during the holiday seasons. Many students use these jobs to help their cost of living in Japan. However, part-time jobs will only be permitted after your Japanese Language class. Please refer to us regarding this.





  1. What are the types of work I can apply while having a Student Visa?

There are some restrictions on the type of work that you can apply to. Foreign staff can be found at convenience stores, restaurants, factories, hotel services and some are into newspaper delivery companies. We can assist you with these.

  1. After I graduate from the Japanese Language Course, can I find a better and regular job?

Absolutely! If you are a 4 years College graduate in your country which is one of the main qualifications to change your status from Student Visa to Working Visa. While you are studying Japanese and studying seriously, it is to your advantage to take your JLPT exam, get your N2 Certificate and prepare for your job interview. Most of the Group of Japanese Companies prefer workers who can speak their language. If you are highly- skilled and you can now communicate with the professionals in Japan, then many service companies will accept you. Under Graduates must continue to study Vocational school and Graduate to be able to apply for working visa.


  1. What are the other benefits and advantages of being a student and studying Japanese Language in Japan? What can we expect from WSTV?

Japan is the only country in the world where Japanese is native. Though there are Japanese schools and learning centers around the world, only by studying in Japan can you learn Japanese to a level where you can use it for work. For example, for a specialty occupation like IT Programmers, a field that is growing rapidly and very in demand in Japan, but companies require IT- level knowledge that can communicate to everyone and relate to the other companies.
